Year 6 Camp

Year 6 camp is set at the picturesque Cave Hill Creek Camp, near Beaufort in Victoria. The camp is positioned on a private lake surrounded by the mountains of the Mt Cole State Forest. This camp provides our students the opportunity to challenge themselves with new activities whilst further developing their understanding of Australian History and the Gold Rush.

Some of the activities offered to our students at Cave Hill Creek Camp include:

  • Canoeing
  • Bush cooking
  • Hut Building
  • Mountain Bike Riding
  • Ropes Courses
  • Fishing
  • Survivor (team building and initiative activities)
  • A day at Sovereign Hill
  • Blood At The Southern Cross show

This truly is an action-packed camp, set in one of most beautiful rural settings you could find. Cave Hill Creek Camp provides our Year 6 students lifelong memories of their final year at Ashburton Primary School. It also further assists our students in becoming confident, well rounded leaders as they prepare for Secondary School and beyond.
